The area we’re hunting
encompasses a large part of Western Alaska and the
Bristol Bay region. Our hunting area is HUGE; the southern
part of our area starts at the Bristol Bay shoreline and
then runs north to the Kilbuck Mountains. The eastern
border of our area is the famous Mulchatna river
watershed, and then runs west taking in the Nushagak
river drainages, Muklung & Nushagak Hills, and the
massive Wood-Tikchik State Park. |
 |
| |
|
 |
Our hunting area is about 170 miles long, by 90 miles
wide, roughly 15,000 square miles!
To hunters this area is known as GMU 17 (Game Management
Unit), home to some of the largest coastal brown bears
in the world, massive Alaska moose, plus the famous
caribou of our region, the Mulchatna Herd.
|
| |
|
|
Other critters that maintain healthy populations in this
area include; black bear, wolf, wolverine, grizzly bear,
and numerous other small fur-bearers that we harvest
using trapping methods. |

| |
|
 |
We have been awarded a coveted permit to operate within
Wood-Tikchik State Park. This Park is the largest state
park in the nation comprised of some 1.6 million acres. The
park has good populations of moose & caribou; however
the highlight of hunting in the park is the large
concentrations of brown
/ grizzly bears.
|
| |
|
| A large part of the
park consists of a huge lake system
in which 4-5 million salmon spawn annually, the
largest concentration of wild salmon spawning anywhere in the world! As hunters know, when you have
concentrations of salmon, you’ll have concentrations of
bears. To read more about the park

Having lived in the area for the past 15+ years we know this
area second-to-none. All of our hunts are conducted exclusively in GMU 17, which is literally our backyard. We focus all of our
resources into hunting for only 3 species; brown bear, moose, and
caribou.

HUNTING
CAMPS
Welcome to camp! When you arrive at
camp and get out of the airplane, we’ll be proud to
offer you a sincere “Welcome to camp” along with a firm
handshake. You’re our guest and we’re glad to see you.
Come on in and make yourself at home.
We use several different forms of hunting camps
depending on what species we’re hunting, time of year
(spring or fall), and what specific part of our area
we’re hunting. Accommodations range from one of our
deluxe cabins, to a small tent camp.
|
 |
| |
|
 |
The one thing that remains
consistent with all of our camps is our commitment to
having good equipment in each camp. All of our camps are
outfitted with new, or near new equipment, including;
tents, comfortable cots, propane heaters, cook stoves,
lanterns, and so on. We buy new equipment every year and
sell the “old” equipment that has been used on 1-2
hunts, equipment that we used 1-3 weeks.
We are serious about hunting for
trophy animals and take a lot of pride in providing
clean, well organized, and comfortable camps.
