During the Spring Bear Hunts, we’ll be in snow everyday. Temperatures may vary from 10*-50*, with a 60% chance of rain or snow. To make yourself as comfortable as possible, bring clothes made of wool, polypropylene, hollofill, thinsulate, or other materials w/ similar features (no down). You’ll change out of your street clothes in Dillingham. Your street clothes and hard rifle case will stay in Dillingham. I’ll fly you directly from Dillingham to your hunting camp in a Super Cub on skis, your gun will be in a hard case on the wing, and your gear will be in the baggage compartment in the back of the plane. To ensure aircraft safety, there is a gear weight restriction of 50 lbs per person (plus gun). All your gear should be in a soft-sided duffel bag (no hard luggage, sides or bottom), the waterproof type are nice!
